Ok...here's the scoop

Jeez, life has gotten terribly complicated the last couple of weeks. My job is great, but there is a lack of urgency to accomplish much. We have deadlines and meet them, but for the back-end cleanup and/or anything else that doesn't have a firm deadline seems to slide by.

I work with a lot of great people, but it's readily apparent that I'm going to have to learn Spanish. About 1/2 of the office are ESL, and that's great, but I feel lost sometimes.

The book thing is getting out of hand too, I've been working hard with the DE, and we're making headway, but DAMN....she's needy and really doesn't seem to have her head screwed on right. I've become her emotional dumping ground for all her issues. I guess I'm just a sucker for a sob story. She's nice and all, but I can't see myself being friendly with her after the book is done.

Brenda is all set to move on down in July, and I'm excited to have her here. I've been playing bachelor for the last three weeks, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I get up, I go to work, I come home, I eat if I feel like it, work on the GDFM book until late, and then I go to bed...I don't have to worry about anybody else but me, and lately I have really enjoyed it.

Anyhow, enough ranting for now...
